A New Year of Girl Scouting
Our Registration night was a huge success. We are going to have a great troop this year. Melody and I are so excited about the things that we have planned.Sept. 17th- On this day we will be meeting to Register any new girls {that haven't already registered} and we will be turning in our Fall Product sales numbers. Please remember that money is only due for the magazines that are sold. Candy and nut money is due when we deliver it to the customer.
If anyone has any questions about the fall products, please let me or mel know!!
October 8th- On this night, Christie Kiefer has arranged for us to use the Bridgestone Learning lab to earn our computer badges. We will meet out there at our usual time. If you think that you cannot attend, or if you have any questions, please email me as soon as possible.
Hope everyone has a great week- see you on the 17th of Sept.!!!

Long Time - No See!!!
In the meantime, or Fall Products sales will start in just a short while. The dates for sales this year will be August 27-September 14.
Last year we just asked that each girl sell one item and most everyone did. We actually made quite a bit considering we didn't really put forth much effort. This year we are going to get started a little earlier and try our best to sell what we can. We understand that everyone starts selling items as soon as school starts, but every little bit helps us be able to do more without having to dig in our own pockets to fund trips, etc.
We are so excited about this upcoming year, and we hope that you are too!!!
Talk to you all soon..... Melody and Julie

The ceremony itself will be short and sweet...Be sure to bring those cameras!
There will be refreshments afterwards in the fellowship hall.
All family and friends are invited. :)

_______________________________________________________________Camping......
Our Girl Scout service unit is planning a camping trip to Camp Tubb {in Rock Island} on May the 18th.
Please sign up the night of the Bridging Ceremony. There will be a list downstairs. The fee for the trip is $5/ girl this covers the lunch on Saturday. Our Troop will need to bring their own tents and sleeping bags, and food for supper and breakfast.
________________________________________________________________**MORE USEFUL INFORMATION**
There will be several opportunities this summer for leader training for all levels this summer, please let us know if you are interested in any of these. We are also looking for someone to lead the daisies next year. I will be moving up to help Melody with the older ones.
Our troop earned a bonus for selling the cookies and having everything on time. It was $106.26!!!
We are going to try to have at least one activity per month during the summer. Please keep looking on the site for information about these events. We are hoping to do a kickoff in August in the form of a family cookout. We will have the registration packs available to fill out then for next year.
HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL WEEK!!!
